Job Opportunity: Locum PM&R Physician in Austin, TX

We are seeking a qualified PM&R physician for a locum position in Austin, TX, starting from April 2025 to October 2025. The position requires a Texas medical license, with expedited privileges available for providers with a clean history.

Position Details:

• Specialty Needed: PM&R
• Schedule: 24/7 Inpatient Rehab, Monday to Friday with weekend call, 7 days a week coverage required
• Inpatient scheduled and call available
• Support Staff: 2 IM groups covering the house
• Patient Age Range: 16-90
• Type of Care: Inpatient
• Charting/EMR: EMR system used

Responsibilities and Expectations:

• Caseload: Average of 15 patients per day, with a range
• Admissions: 3-4 per shift
• Rounding: Minimum of 3 times a week plus weekend coverage
• Call Coverage: Night and weekend, with negotiable start and end times, ending at 7:00 PM
• Number of phone Consults: Intake from Clinical Liaisons, approval required
