Job Opportunity: Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation Physician in Florida

This north Florida health system is launching a newly built 36-bed inpatient rehabilitation service and is seeking two physical medicine and rehabilitation physicians to help lead the program. The location is conveniently situated one hour from both coasts and one hour north of Orlando.

Qualified Candidates: Must be board eligible or board certified in PM&R. Incoming physicians will provide leadership and direction for new rehabilitation program development. The role involves covering a 36-bed unit treating acute rehab patients, including trauma, stroke, orthopedic, amputation, neurologic, and debility cases.

About the Health System: A 510-bed two-hospital system (flagship: 288 beds; satellite: 222 beds, including the 36-bed rehab) with 3 freestanding EDs. The region's only Level II Trauma Center and DNV-certified Comprehensive Stroke Center. The system partners with the University of Central Florida (UCF) for over 150 graduate medical education (GME) positions. The area has experienced 7+ years of growth and capital investment.
