StaffMed Health Partners has partnered with a Nation's Largest Hospital System to assist in identifying an exceptional physical medicine and rehabilitation physician to join as Medical Director of an existing program located on the beaches of the Florida Panhandle.

Practice Highlights / Qualifications:

• Board eligible / board certified in PM&R
• Inpatient focus
• Full-time position with Medical Directorship duties
• Provide leadership and direction for existing rehabilitation program
• Cover 20-bed acute inpatient rehab unit located within Panama City Beach, Florida
• CARF (Commission on Accreditation of Rehab Facilities) accredited and ranks in the top 5 for quality outcomes in all (71 rehab programs)
• A dedicated group of trained therapy and nursing staff including certified rehab nurses
• We treat general acute rehab patients including but not limited to stroke, orthopaedic, multiple trauma, amputation, neurological conditions, and debility patients
• Can do consults in hospital or nursing homes, if interested

The hospital you will cover has served the healthcare needs of this community for more than 40 years. As a fully accredited, 238-bed facility, the hospital is certified in Advanced Primary Stroke Care, accredited as a Comprehensive Breast Care Center and is the area's only Accredited Chest Pain Center with Primary PCI and Resuscitation. The hospital offers other quality services to include orthopedic care and joint replacement, robotic surgery, cardiac, vascular, and interventional services. It also has the only Pediatric ER in the community and the only Level III NICU and Pediatric ICU in the region.
