Qualifications

• Actively licensed to practice in the state of employment.
• Current Controlled Substance License (required on start date).
• Current DEA License (required on start date).
• ANCC or AANP certification.
• Interest in Physiatry/Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with therapists, nurses, and other professionals to develop rehab treatment plans.
• Conduct patient assessments, medical histories, and diagnostic evaluations for rehab goals.
• Monitor progress and adjust plans to optimize functional outcomes and independence.
• Participate in multidisciplinary meetings to enhance clinical knowledge.
• Maintain accurate EMR documentation for evaluations, plans, progress, and discharge summaries.
• Educate patients and families about rehab processes, outcomes, and post-discharge care.
