Job summary

St. Charles Health System in Bend, Oregon, is seeking an Advanced Practice Provider in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation to work in the Physiatry department.

The APP will see patients independently in clinic, with a minimum of 40 hours per week and 36 hours of direct patient contact, supporting concussion management as part of the program. Qualified candidates will have PA or NP training, active licensure in Oregon, and relevant EMR experience.

Qualifications

• Successful completion of an approved Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner program and licensure.
• Certified as appropriate to the incumbent’s license (NCCPA for PA; AANC/NCC/NCCP/AANP/AMCB for NP).
• Active medical licenses and privileges, with current BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide physiatry care in clinic settings with independent patient panels.
• Maintain accurate EMR documentation and billing compliance.
• Collaborate with orthopedics and neurosurgery teams on care pathways.
• Participate in CME activities to maintain board certification and privileges.
• Ensure patient safety and high-quality care across the service line.
