Job summary

The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center is seeking a BC/BE physiatrist for an outpatient position with unlimited potential for growth. The ideal candidate will have experience and be proficient in prosthetic, orthotics, assistive device prescription, evaluation of musculoskeletal conditions, and gait analysis.

Academic rank and track will be commensurate with the candidate’s academic record and experience.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree.
• Completion of an accredited Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation Residency Program.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation.
• Eligibility for an Ohio Medical License.

Responsibilities

• Serve as Medical Director of the outpatient limb loss service line, collaborating with the limb loss therapy team and the Military Medicine plastic surgery team.
• Contribute to training, research, and scholarly activities.
• Participate in committees, conferences, and professional meetings.
• Represent the program or department at community speaking engagements.
• Adhere to established Medical Center policies, procedures, and protocols.
