Job summary

The Department of Orthopaedic Surgery within the School of Medicine at UC San Diego is seeking highly qualified Physiatrists to complement our non-surgical Orthopaedic practice. The successful candidate will join other Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation and non-surgical physicians in the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery.

The role includes teaching and opportunities for basic science and clinical research at UC San Diego facilities, with appointment at Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor

Qualifications

• Physiatrist with focus on non-surgical musculoskeletal conditions.
• Experience in teaching and clinical research is desirable.
• Interest in sports medicine opportunities is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage general musculoskeletal conditions with non-surgical management.
• Provide fluoroscopy-assisted and non-surgical arthritis management when applicable.
• Engage in teaching and opportunities for basic science and clinical research.
