Job summary

The University of California, San Francisco, Department of Orthopaedic Surgery is recruiting a Physiatrist with experience in adult inpatient consults, an inpatient acute rehabilitation unit, and a general physiatry outpatient clinic in an academic setting.

The selected candidate will be appointed at Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor rank, and may be based in San Francisco or other specialty locations, with opportunities for clinical research and publication in peer reviewed journals.

Qualifications

• Valid California medical license.
• MD or DO degree from an accredited program.
• Completed an accredited Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation residency.
• Board certified or eligible in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation.
• Applicant's materials must list (pending) qualifications upon submission.

Responsibilities

• Provide inpatient physiatry consults for adult patients.
• Inpatient acute rehabilitation unit involvement.
• General physiatry outpatient clinic duties.
• Collaborate in clinical and/or basic research and publish results.

Education

PM&R residency

Board certified or eligible in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation
