Kettering Health Network is seeking a Radiology Administrative liaison for the First Shift to cultivate referral relationships with external providers and support growth across radiology services.

The role requires 3–5 years in healthcare marketing or physician relations, a Bachelor's degree, travel to multiple facilities, and strong data analysis and communication skills to improve patient access and coordination.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, business, healthcare administration, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Establishes, nurtures, and maintains relationships with referring physicians, hospitals, and other providers to facilitate referrals and collaborative care.
• Communicates information about clinical services, new specialists, treatments, and procedures to external providers to encourage referrals.
• Identifies and addresses barriers to the referral process, ensuring seamless patient transitions and positive provider experiences.
• Supports onboarding and integration of newly affiliated physicians and provides resources and contacts.
• Analyzes referral patterns and outreach effectiveness using data tools to identify trends and opportunities.
• Plans and coordinates educational events, seminars, and meetings to promote services and foster relationships.
• Serves as a point of contact for external providers and resolves referral or access issues.
• Collaborates with marketing, clinical operations, and administration to align outreach strategies.
• Ensures HIPAA compliance and regulatory adherence in all communications.
• Prepares reports and presentations summarizing outreach activities and provider feedback for leadership.

Responsibilities & Requirements

The Physician Liaison serves as a strategic connector between Kettering Health and external medical providers, building and maintaining referral relationships to enhance patient access, care coordination, and organizational growth. This role facilitates communication about clinical services, identifies and resolves referral barriers, and supports provider onboarding and engagement. Performs other duties as assigned. All job responsibilities are to be carried out in alignment with Kettering Health's mission, vision, values, and B Safe program.

Required Education

• Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, business, healthcare administration, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.

Required Work Experience

• Three to five years of experience in healthcare marketing, sales, physician relations, or a related area.

Required Licenses, Certifications, and Registrations

• Supports the onboarding and integration of newly affiliated physicians, providing information about resources, referral processes, and organizational contacts.
• Analyzes referral patterns and outreach effectiveness using data analytics tools to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
• Plans and coordinates educational events, seminars, and meetings to promote Kettering Health's services and foster relationships within the medical community.
• Serves as a point of contact for external providers, responding to inquiries and facilitating resolution of issues related to referrals or service access.
• Collaborates with internal departments, including marketing, clinical operations, and administration, to align outreach strategies and support organizational goals.
• Ensures compliance with HIPAA, other regulatory agencies, and state regulations in all communications and activities.
• Prepares reports and presentations summarizing outreach activities, referral trends, and provider feedback for leadership review.
• Maintains accurate records of outreach activities, provider contacts, and follow-up actions in designated systems.
• Travels to various healthcare facilities and provider offices as required to maintain relationships and support outreach efforts.

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's degree in a relevant field.
• Experience working in a clinical setting or direct patient care role.
• Certification in healthcare marketing or public relations.
