Job Description: The Departments of Physics and Mathematics at Syracuse University invite applications to fill multiple faculty positions in the field of quantum information science, broadly defined. Faculty will join the newly established Institute for Quantum and Information Sciences, an interdisciplinary effort spanning multiple departments in the College of Arts and Sciences and the College of Engineering. The hiring priority in Physics includes all fields of experimental research related to quantum and information science, broadly defined. This includes, but is not limited to, quantum optics and photonics; atomic, molecular, and optical physics; and quantum sensing and networking.
