Job summary

The Strategic Group is seeking a web developer to design, develop, test, and maintain web applications based on functional and system requirements. The role requires adapting to new languages and platforms while contributing to documentation and test procedures.

The ideal candidate has 1-2+ years of PHP experience, solid SQL database skills (MSSQL/MySQL), and strong CSS/HTML know-how, plus fluent English and Spanish communication. A team player with strong analytical skills will fit well.

Qualifications

• 1-2+ years of proven experience with PHP and web development.
• Strong understanding of relational databases (MSSQL, MySQL).
• Good understanding of CSS/HTML and scripting.
• Experience with Web Server technologies.
• Self-motivated, independent, detail oriented, responsible team-player.
• Strong communication skills in English and Spanish.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and test existing web applications based on functional and system requirements.
• Enhance existing web applications by identifying areas for modification and improvement.
• Maintain existing web applications by identifying and correcting errors.
• Adapt to new languages, methodologies and platforms to meet project needs.
• Initial duties may include code reviews, documentation, and following test procedures.
• Later duties may include responsibility for production software components.
