Job summary

Kolmac Integrated Behavioral Health is seeking a PHP Therapist to deliver individual and group therapy within our Partial Hospitalization Program and outpatient services. You will collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to plan and implement treatment, conduct assessments, and ensure timely documentation.

The role supports crisis coverage and coordinated care with providers in Maryland, DC, Delaware, Pennsylvania, and Virginia.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in social work, Counseling, Psychology, or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a behavioral health setting, preferably PHP/outpatient.
• Experience in assessments, treatment planning, and therapeutic interventions.
• Strong understanding of DSM-5 diagnoses and mental health disorders.
• Knowledge of trauma-informed care, CBT, DBT, and other modalities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with diverse clients.
• Proficient in electronic health records (EHR) and clinical documentation.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments using biopsychosocial evaluations and DSM criteria.
• Develop, implement, and update individualized treatment plans with the team.
• Provide individual and group therapy in PHP/OP levels of care.
• Deliver interventions grounded in evidence-based modalities.
• Facilitate case management and discharge planning with referrals.
• Educate clients on mental health, treatments, and coping strategies.
• Coordinate care with psychiatrists, case managers, and providers.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation in line with standards.
