Anchor Hospital in Atlanta, GA seeks licensed therapists to provide virtual therapeutic services, assess needs, and develop treatment plans. You will serve as a primary contact for patients and families during admission and coordinate discharge planning with the treatment team and external agencies.
The role emphasizes family sessions prior to discharge and ongoing advocacy to support patient outcomes within the facility.
Therapists are responsible for conducting virtual therapeutic services for patients, interviewing and developing the psychological history, assessing the therapeutic needs of the individual and family, developing appropriate treatment objectives, and treatment plan updates for patients. Therapists conduct family sessions prior to discharge. Therapists act as the patients’ and families’ primary contact during the patient’s stay at the facility, as well as their advocate with the treatment team. Therapists are also liaisons with outside agencies and individuals for the purpose of developing and coordinating discharge planning with the treatment team and family. This is not a remote position.
