Job summary

Kolmac Integrated Behavioral Health in Virginia is seeking a PHP Therapist to provide individual and group therapy within the Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP). You will coordinate with an interdisciplinary treatment team to develop and monitor treatment plans, and ensure documentation is accurate and timely.

The role emphasizes crisis intervention, after-hours on-call rotation, and collaboration with psychiatrists, case managers, and external providers to support recovery and well-being.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in social work, Counseling, Psychology, or related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a behavioral health setting, preferably with PHP or outpatient programs.
• Experience in conducting assessments, treatment planning, and therapeutic interventions.
• Strong understanding of DSM-5 diagnoses and mental health disorders.
• Knowledge of trauma-informed care, CBT, DBT, and other modalities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with diverse clients.
• Proficient in electronic health records (EHR) and clinical documentation.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments including biopsychosocial evaluations using DSM-5 criteria.
• Develop, implement, and update individualized treatment plans with the team.
• Provide direct care through individual and group therapy sessions in PHP/OP settings.
• Deliver interventions such as Motivational Interviewing, CBT, and trauma-informed care.
• Coordinate care with referral sources and external providers; participate in treatment team meetings.
