Endeavor Health seeks a Psychiatrist to join our nationally recognized team as Medical Director for the PHP/IOP program for adolescents and adults. This full-time, on-site position is located at 1335 N. Mills Street, Naperville, and includes supervision of APPs and leadership in psychiatric care.

Responsibilities

• Provide physician leadership and psychiatric treatment to a Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) and a psychiatric outpatient clinic.
• Work on-site 5 days per week with PHP/IOP and clinic patients.
• Supervise Advanced Practice Providers.
• Conduct comprehensive psychiatric assessments and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Provide evidence-based psychiatric evaluation and medication management for mood, anxiety, psychotic, and substance use disorders.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure coordinated patient care.
• Monitor and adjust treatment plans to optimize patient outcomes.
• Maintain accurate patient records in compliance with hospital policies and regulations.
• Participate in case conferences and treatment planning sessions.
• Educate and support patients and families, promoting mental health awareness.

What You Will Do

• Provide physician leadership and psychiatric treatment to a Partial Hospitalization Program and a Psychiatric outpatient clinic

• Conduct comprehensive psychiatric assessments, including mental status examinations and medical histories, to diagnose and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Provide evidence-based psychiatric evaluation and medication management for patients with various mental health conditions, including mood disorders, anxiety disorders, psychosis, and substance use disorders.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals, including psychologists, nurses, and social workers, to ensure coordinated patient care.
• Monitor and adjust treatment plans to optimize patient outcomes, using a patient-centered and recovery-oriented approach.
• Administer and manage psychotropic medications and therapies, ensuring compliance with regulations and best practices.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, progress notes, and treatment plans in compliance with hospital policies and legal regulations.
• Participate in case conferences, team meetings, and treatment planning sessions to review patient progress and provide care recommendations.
• Educate and support patients and their families, promoting mental health awareness and providing resources for coping and self-management.
• Stay informed about the latest advancements in psychiatric care through ongoing professional development and training.
