Cypress HCM is seeking a Photoshop C++ developer to build production-quality AI/GenAI imaging features. You will work across research, ML engineering, product, and design teams to drive end-to-end experiences in Photoshop.

Job Description

• Develop and integrate production-quality AI/GenAI imaging features into the Photoshop application by working across research, ML engineering, product, and design teams.

Responsibilities

• Gain in-depth knowledge of the Photoshop codebase, including Photoshop Document model and overall architecture, to develop and integrate innovative technologies into the flagship Photoshop product.


• Deliver polished end-to-end AI/GenAI experiences as a Photoshop C++ developer, collaborating with researchers, ML engineers, application developers, UI designers, product managers, quality engineers, and customers.


• Maintain, evolve and improve existing features in a large, complex codebase.


• Participate in formal and informal code and design reviews.


• Write robust, scalable, performant, and secure code.


• Take initiative, tackle new challenges, and acquire necessary knowledge and skills to complete tasks.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of software development experience with a proven track record of designing, implementing and delivering large-scale high-quality production software.


• Proficient in modern C/C++ with extensive large-scale application development experience.


• Working knowledge of Python and JavaScript preferred.


• Skills and passion to build compelling user experiences leveraging well defined UI frameworks.


• Solid foundation in computer science fundamentals, software architecture, design patterns, memory systems, CPU/GPU optimizations, and software engineering best practices.


• Proven experience leveraging AI coding assistants and agentic workflows to accelerate delivery of production code while maintaining correctness, performance, security, and test coverage.


• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.


• BS or MS in Computer Science or related field.

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with digital imaging, computer vision, and experience integrating AI/ML models into production applications.

Compensation

• Pay Rate: $77.47/hour
