Keysight Technologies Inc. is seeking a Photonics Test Development & Solution Engineer in the Bay Area to define, automate, and improve wafer-level photonics test strategies and infrastructure.

You will translate customer requirements into robust automated workflows and own calibration, alignment, and data analysis across labs. You will collaborate with technicians and measurement scientists to ensure test accuracy, scalability, and reproducibility, delivering actionable insights for

Qualifications

• Define, evolve, and own automated wafer-level test plans translating stakeholder requirements into repeatable, accurate test campaigns.
• Develop scripts in C#, Python, and MATLAB to scale automation, data analysis, and improve repeatability.
• Define reference measurements, guardbands, and pass/fail criteria reflecting performance objectives.

Responsibilities

• Define and develop automated wafer-level test plans using LCA, Velox, TAP, and the Photonic Application Suite.
• Develop and validate RF and optical calibration methodologies and alignment algorithms for accuracy.
• Integrate drivers, automation frameworks, and control software ensuring deployment readiness and technician operability.
• Act as the technical escalation point, analyze logs and data to identify root causes and drive corrective actions.
• Own test data analysis and reporting, maintain long-term result databases for traceability.
