Qualifications

• 6+ years’ experience designing and building integrated photonic systems.
• Master of Science or PhD in Physics, Optics/Photonics, Electrical Engineering or related field; with 2+ years post-degree experience.
• Experience can substitute for MS Degree (BS + 8+ Years).
• Knowledge of lasers, optics, and photonics instrumentation.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and test photonics tools for scientific/industrial use.
• Design experiments to qualify proof-of-concept technologies.
• Coordinate between engineering disciplines to support product development.
• Manage project timeline and costs.
• Specify tests and procedures for production transfer.
• Collaborate with software group to maximize functionality.
