Job summary

Quantum Computing Inc. (QCi) in Bedford, MA is seeking a Production Supervisor to lead a laser and photonics assembly site in a fast-paced, regulated manufacturing environment.

You will plan, organize, and direct work flow to meet quality, cost, and delivery targets while promoting safety and continuous improvement. The ideal candidate has 5+ years in microelectronics or photonics manufacturing, a Bachelor's in engineering or manufacturing technology, and proven leadership in cleanroom settings.

Qualifications

• 5+ years experience in microelectronics or photonics manufacturing.
• Bachelor's Degree in engineering, manufacturing technology or equivalent.
• Leadership experience in a cleanroom-based photonics environment.
• Experience in photonics, lasers, microelectronics, or related industries.
• Strong Excel and MS Office skills; familiarity with ISO 9001/AS9100.

Responsibilities

• Actively leads continuous improvement including 6S and safety audits.
• Develop and drive initiatives to improve productivity of people and resources.
• Escalate equipment, process problems and safety issues to appropriate channels.
• Execute production schedules and communicate status, priorities, and risks.
• Manage employee time and attendance details.
• Mentor associates and develop training and qualification plans.
• Allocate resources based on capacity to meet schedules and delivery.
• Process ERP/database entries for timely job processing.
• Initiate Engineering Change Requests to correct documentation.
• Complete employee performance evaluations.
• Maintain the production environment for safety and wellbeing.
