Job summary

Brightlight Photonics is seeking a fabrication engineer to take responsibility for day-to-day operations in our Cambridge, MA facilities. The role covers cleanroom work across Harvard CNS, MIT Nano, and Cornell CNF, plus Brightlight Laboratory activities involving photonic material sputtering and metrology.

The ideal candidate has significant cleanroom experience and strong optics/photonics background, with PhD considered for senior roles or a Bachelor's/Master's for fabrication engineer

Qualifications

• Significant cleanroom experience with demonstrable outcomes.
• Experience with optics/photonics.

Responsibilities

• Take responsibility for day to day fabrication operations in cleanrooms (Harvard CNS, MIT.Nano, Cornell CNF).
• Develop novel fabrication recipes and maintain existing processes.
• Collaborate on R&D projects with academic and industry partners, attend and present at conferences.
• Opportunities to take on new leadership roles as our fabrication team grows.
