Job summary

Lumibird Photonics USA Inc. seeks an Electrical Engineer Intern to join a fast-paced, real-world development team.

This short-term position offers hands-on experience with new product development and ongoing improvement of existing photonics systems, subsystems, and variants across commercial, industrial, medical and military applications. You'll design and test electrical schematics, build simple assemblies, assist with BOMs and technical drawings, and collaborate with mechanical and software

Qualifications

Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or closely related field.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple programs and priorities.
ITAR/EAR familiarity or willingness to learn (ITAR restricted).

Responsibilities

Design electrical schematics and wiring diagrams with CAD tools under senior guidance.
Build, test and troubleshoot circuit card assemblies and subsystems.
Create and revise BOMs and technical drawings with documentation.
Support prototyping, testing, data collection, and basic analysis.
Prepare simple technical reports and presentations and report progress.
