Job summary

The role focuses on disposition of nonconforming material, developing and sustaining processes to meet fab goals, monitoring performance, and creating procedures and documentation; strong communication and problem-solving skills are essential.

Qualifications

  • Knowledge of lithography operation including coat, expose, develop, SEM and registration.
  • A working understanding of statistical process control (SPC) is useful.
  • Ability to design experiments and make recommendations based on results.
  • Good written and verbal communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

  • Interface with manufacturing, equipment engineering, IT, and other groups to support the photo area.
  • Disposition nonconforming material in a timely and logical manner.
  • Develop, sustain and improve processes to achieve fab and area goals.
  • Monitor processes and equipment for optimum performance and implement cost-effective corrective/preventive actions.
  • Assist in training manufacturing and engineering personnel.
  • Create and maintain procedures, specifications, charts, and related documentation.
  • Collaborate with integration and process engineering groups to troubleshoot products, processes and process flows; provide customer support as needed.
  • Evaluate and specify materials used in wafer fab.
