Job summary

Vishay Thin Film in Niagara Falls, NY is seeking a 1st Shift Photolithography Operator. You will set up and operate SVG and poly spinner equipment, inspect photomasks and wafers with microscopes, and perform exposure and etching steps to create precise conductor and resistor patterns.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, strong reading/writing, arithmetic, and attention to detail, plus the ability to multitask and train others.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to read and write to interpret production documents and accurately record required information.
• Ability to perform arithmetic calculations using a learned method or a calculator.
• Eye-hand coordination and good manual dexterity to process small parts.
• Ability to concentrate and pay close attention to detail when working with chemicals.
• Ability to multi-task and train other employees.
• Organizational skills to maintain a clean workstation.
• Ability to understand verbal and written instruction and follow directions accurately.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate SVG spinner equipment, and poly spinner.
• Inspect photomasks and substrates/wafers using microscopes and determine good/bad.
• Perform conductor, resistor, and polyimide exposure procedures using mask aligner equipment.
• Etch conductor and resistor patterns.
• Develop substrates/wafers for proper alignment and line width.
• Dispose of acid baths and plasma clean plates when necessary.
