Texas Instruments Incorporated seeks an Equipment Engineer in Sherman, TX to advance equipment reliability and performance across the manufacturing floor.

You will drive lifecycle optimization, oversee installs and upgrades, and work with vendors to ensure cost-effective, high-uptime operations. Data-driven decisions will shape maintenance schedules and process improvements.

• Studies equipment performance reliability and maintains equipment.
• Drive cost of ownership to optimized performance.
• Oversees the installation, modification, upgrade and maintenance of manufacturing equipment.
• Responsible for evaluating, selecting, and ordering equipment that is most appropriate and cost effective for the manufacture of company products.
• Keeps current on equipment manufacturers' technical notices, upgrades and safety issues.
• Work with equipment vendors to sustain and enhance equipment performance from a tool standpoint.
• Use data to make intelligent improvements to overall equipment performance.
• Compiles and evaluates data to determine appropriate limits and variables for equipment specifications.
• Provides technical support to the manufacturing equipment repair and process engineering organizations.
• Establishes action plans, programs, and solutions for increasing uptime and for equipment problems that affect the manufacturing process.
• Defines and writes preventative maintenance schedules.
• Project management that results in the timely execution of continuous improvement actions that resolve issues impacting fab performance metrics.
• Support teams in addressing fab projects such as safety, quality, equipment availability or efficiency.
• Provide progress reports on tools, processes, and goals
