Job summary

Texas Instruments is seeking an Equipment Engineer to support a high‑volume 300mm wafer fab running Analog Technologies. You will evaluate, install, modify, upgrade, and maintain manufacturing equipment, stay current with supplier notices, study performance, and help resolve issues to minimize cycle time.

The role also provides technical support to equipment repair and process engineering teams and involves defining preventative maintenance schedules to improve uptime and reliability.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting manufacturing equipment.
• Ability to analyze equipment performance and reliability.
• Familiarity with high-volume manufacturing environments.

Responsibilities

• Support manufacturing operations.
• Evaluate, select, and order equipment cost-effectively for product manufacture.
• Oversee installation, modification, upgrade and maintenance of equipment.
• Stay current on equipment manufacturers' notices, upgrades and safety issues.
• Study equipment performance and reliability; participate in data analysis and problem resolution.
• Perform lot and equipment dispositions to minimize cycle time in 300mm wafer fab.
• Establish programs and solutions to increase uptime and address equipment problems.
• Provide technical support to manufacturing equipment repair and process engineering teams.
• Define and write preventative maintenance schedules.

• Providing technical support to the manufacturing equipment repair and process engineering organizations
• Defining and writing preventative maintenance schedules
