Job summary

Spectrum News NECN is seeking a Photojournalist to shoot and edit material for newscasts, elevating stories with fresh angles, lighting, and perspectives. You will join a collaborative team delivering content across traditional and digital platforms.

The role requires 5+ years of experience in television news shooting/editing, a Bachelor's degree in journalism or equivalent, and proficiency with ENG/SNG equipment and bonded cellular streaming. Travel and flexible shifts are expected.

Qualifications

Experience shooting and editing television news footage (5+ years).
Bachelor's degree in journalism or related field, or comparable television work experience.
Proficiency with ENG/SNG/Satellite vehicles and bonded cellular streaming.
Ability to clearly communicate solutions and relate to diverse populations.
Positive attitude, problem-solving skills, physical ability to lift up to 100 pounds and operate in varying weather.
Willingness to travel to cover important stories and to work diverse shifts.

Responsibilities
