Qualifications

• Experience teaching photography or visual arts.
• Strong knowledge of photography techniques and editing.
• Ability to work with middle and high school students.
• NMPED teaching license preferred; professional photography experience welcomed.

FTE: 0.50 (M/W/Rotating Fridays) or 1.00 (M-F) | School Year: 2026–2027 (January 4, 2027)

New Mexico Academy for the Media Arts is seeking a creative, enthusiastic, and student-centered Photography Teacher to join our arts-focused school community. The successful candidate will teach photography to middle and high school students and help students develop their technical skills, artistic voice, creativity, and confidence.
