Job summary

SeaWorld Discovery Cove Orlando is seeking a Senior Photographer to capture memorable park moments and provide exceptional guest service. You’ll greet guests, answer questions, and produce high-quality images of animal interactions while helping guests view and purchase photos.

The role involves selling merchandise, maintaining clean work areas, and collaborating with the team in a fast-paced environment. Comfort around water and animals is required, with outdoor/indoor shifts in varied weather.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma.
• Outgoing personality with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to take quality images with a digital camera.
• Ability to handle cash and use a point-of-sale system.
• Ability to stay composed and make quick decisions in stressful situations.
• Strong multi-tasking abilities.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Photography experience preferred.
• DSLR camera knowledge is a plus.
• Must be comfortable walking in sand and around water and animals.
• Able to work indoors and outdoors in all weather.

Senior Photographer

What you get to do:

As a Senior Photographer, you’ll help guests turn their wonderful park memories into fun, lasting photographic imagery. We’re looking to you to provide exceptional guest service while answering any questions guests may have about their experience. You will:

• Greet and interact with guests, answer questions and resolve guest issues
• Take high quality images of guest’s animal interactions
• Assist guests with viewing and purchasing photos
• Actively sell retail merchandise and photos
• Keep all assigned areas clean and organized
• Perform other duties as assigned

What it takes to succeed:

• At least 18 years of age
• High school diploma
• Outgoing personality with strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to take quality images with digital camera
• Ability to accurately handle cash and learn to use point of sale system
• Ability to maintain composure and make quick decisions in stressful situations
• Strong multi-tasking abilities
• Ability to work independently with little to no supervision
• Previous guest service and photography experience preferred
• DSLR camera knowledge a plus
• Must be able to walk in sand
• Must be comfortable working in/around water and wearing a wetsuit
• Must be comfortable working around animals
• Must be able to work indoors/outdoors in all weather conditions and temperature extremes
