Job summary

Macy's is seeking self-motivated individuals to join the Long Island City Photo Studios team, supporting the pre- and post-creation of online fashion content. You will work with Marketing and Photo Professionals to meet creative and production demands and contribute to Macy's ongoing ecommerce growth.

In this role you will assist with on-set workflow, file naming conventions, image file management, and parameters setup for each shoot, while collaborating across teams to ensure high-quality

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years photo studio experience.
• Working knowledge of CaptureOne Pro.
• Working knowledge of Adobe Photoshop.
• Knowledge of cameras, strobes and continuous light.
• Understanding of color management.
• Ability to thrive in a creative and productive environment.
• Attention to detail.
• Team player with a flexible approach.
• Ability to work under pressure and overcome challenges.
• Willingness to learn and take on new tasks.
• Excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with the Art directors and Studio coordinators to develop techniques for consistency and efficiency.
• Provide a smooth workflow for Art director on set by following proper file naming conventions, managing image files and setting up all parameters for each shoot.
• Oversee the capture process and ensure that all images are captured properly.
• Notate all technical information needed for retouching team in proprietary software.
• Apply needed crops for shots before transferring to Pre-media department.
• Process and deliver files, contact sheets, and prints as needed.
• Demonstrated ability to juggle multiple complex projects and priorities across multiple teams of people with meticulous attention to detail.
• Maintain studios in a safe and organized manner.
• Equipment management.
