Job summary

Samsung Austin Semiconductor is seeking a Photo Reticle Engineer to ensure health and performance of reticle-related tools supporting fab production. You will collect KPI data, drive continuous‑improvement initiatives, and report to the Inspection or Equipment manager.

Responsibilities include planning system-level improvements, monitoring metrics, ensuring quality before release, and coordinating escalation with vendors and fab engineers.

Qualifications

• BS in Engineering (Chemical, Mechanical, Electrical, Materials Science, Chemistry or Physics).
• 2–5 years experience in semiconductor process engineering.
• Familiarity with Spotfire and scripting languages (Python/R/VBA/JSL).

Responsibilities

• Plan, prioritize, and coordinate system-level improvements for reticle-related toolset.
• Continuously monitor equipment and process metrics to ensure stable operations.
• Ensure reticles meet quality specs before release into production.
• Respond to reticle-quality incidents and develop release-strategy plans.
• Troubleshoot and escalate with vendors and fab engineers.
