Job summary

Samsung Austin Semiconductor is hiring a Photo Process Technician to support manufacturing and system operations for memory chips and logic. You will work with engineers and manufacturing on setup, calibration, maintenance, failure analysis, and quality testing, while collecting data to adjust processes.

Compliance with health, safety and environmental guidelines is required. Responsibilities include developing methods to control manufacturing processes, following SOPs, troubleshooting, and

Qualifications

• Associate degree or technical certification or 4 years equivalent technical Military service.
• 2+ years prior work experience.
• Familiarity with SPC methods and implementation.
• Familiar with TPM concepts.
• Shift - Sunday through Tuesday (6:45am - 7:15pm) with alternating Wednesdays.

Responsibilities

• Collect operating data to conduct in-line adjustments to products, instruments, equipment, or processes.
• Determine and assist in developing methods and procedures to control or modify the manufacturing process. Adhere to health, safety and environmental guidelines.
• Change Point Management (CPM)/System Maintenance: follow SOPs to ensure equipment/processes/systems run effectively.
• Troubleshooting: perform failure analysis and follow scripts to troubleshoot future failures.
• Monitor equipment/process: observe current state and identify ways to improve processes.
