Job summary

Samsung Austin Semiconductor is seeking a Photo Process Technician to support manufacturing and system operations, calibrations, data-driven adjustments, and process improvements on memory chips and logic.

You’ll analyze operating data, follow SOPs, and assist in maintaining equipment and processes while complying with health, safety, and environmental guidelines. This is a full-time on-site role with competitive total rewards.

Qualifications

• Associates degree or technical certification, or 4 years equivalent technical military service.
• 2+ years of prior work experience.
• Familiarity with SPC methods and implementation.
• Familiar with TPM concepts.
• Lithography experience.
• Shift: Sunday through Tuesday (6:45am - 7:15pm) with alternating Wednesdays.

Responsibilities

• Collecting and evaluating operating data to conduct in-line adjustments to products, instruments, equipment, or processes.
• Determining and assisting in developing methods and procedures to control or modify the manufacturing process.Requires compliance with all health, safety and environmental management system guidelines.
• Change Point Management (CPM)/System Maintenance: Following standard operating procedures to ensure equipment/ processes/systems are running effectively.
• Troubleshooting: Conducting failure analysis and follows scripts to troubleshoot and anticipate future failures.
• Monitor Equipment/Process: Monitoring equipment and processes in current state and proactively looks for ways to improve processes.
