Job summary

Samsung Austin Semiconductor is seeking a Photo Equipment Technician to support photolithography equipment through setup, calibration, maintenance, and testing. You’ll collect and evaluate operating data to adjust processes and perform repairs, while complying with health, safety and environmental guidelines.

The role requires an Associates degree or technical certification and 2+ years of related experience in mechanical or computer-based troubleshooting, with 6S practices familiarity.

Position Summary

In your role as a Photo Equipment Technician you'll be responsible for performing functions associated with all manufacturing and/or system operations, such as working with engineers and manufacturing in set-up and calibration tasks, system support, preventative maintenance, failure analysis, documenting/following standard operating procedures, as well as performing maintenance and quality testing related to the photolithography equipment.

You'll also use sophisticated programs to collect and evaluate operating data to conduct in-line adjustments, flow adjustments, and mechanical repairs. Requires compliance with all health, safety and environmental management system guidelines.

The current base salary range for this role is between $18.60/hour - $60.40/hour. Individual base pay rates will depend on factors including duties, work location, education, skills, qualifications and experience. Total compensation for this position will include a competitive benefits package and may include participation in company incentive compensation programs, which are based on factors to include organizational and individual performance.

Day Shifts Include:

A Shift - Sunday through Tuesday (6:45am - 7:15pm) with alternating Wednesdays

C Shift - Thursday through Saturday (6:45am - 7:15pm) with alternating Wednesdays
