Job summary

Broadcom's Wireless Semiconductor Division in Fort Collins, CO is seeking an Equipment Maintenance Technician to sustain and improve wafer fab equipment across existing and new processes. You will work with toolsets and platforms, applying deep equipment knowledge to deliver reliable production capability.

The role emphasizes ownership, troubleshooting, and collaboration with Equipment Engineering, Production and Process Engineering, with opportunities to mentor newer technicians and drive

Qualifications

• Associate degree or higher in electronics/ mechanical eng/ applied science or military equivalent.
• 2+ years of experience maintaining and repairing photo equipment (Broadcom or prior company).
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills for equipment failure and process/equipment interactions.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Sustain and improve wafer fab equipment for existing and new processes in Fort Collins facilities.
• Support new and established toolsets and platforms with deep equipment knowledge.
• Own and execute complex maintenance tasks with minimal supervision.
• Collaborate with Equipment Engineering, Production and Process Engineering to improve availability, reliability and yield.
• Mentor new technicians and share knowledge with the team.
