Job summary

Broadcom Inc. is seeking an Equipment Maintenance Technician for its Wireless Semiconductor Division to sustain and improve wafer fab equipment at facilities along the Front Range in Northern Colorado.

The role covers new and existing platforms, applying extensive equipment knowledge to complete complex tasks and contribute to equipment improvement as part of the Equipment Team. Responsibilities include complex problem solving, working with minimal supervision, and mentoring junior technicians

Qualifications

• Associate of Science degree or higher in Electronics Technology or related field.
• Strong knowledge of electrical, mechanical, RF, plasma, microwave, hydraulic and vacuum technologies.
• Ability to work in a dynamic environment with minimal supervision.
• Authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Resolve complex problems with judgment and specialized knowledge.
• Follow established procedures with precision and efficiency.
• Mentor and train less experienced technicians.
• Collaborate with Equipment Engineering, Production and Process Engineering.
• Improve availability, MTTR and MTBF.
• Complete daily maintenance tasks and ensure planned maintenance is completed.
