Synthires is seeking experienced Photo and Visual Editors to support an AI training initiative focused on image evaluation, editing, and visual quality assessment. This role involves reviewing image collections, selecting strong images, and providing clear written feedback on quality, accuracy, and suitability for publication.

Applicants should have hands-on editing experience with Lightroom, Photoshop, or Capture One, and be able to work remotely with minimal supervision while meeting project

Qualifications

• Professional experience as a Photo Editor, Picture Editor, Visual Editor, Retoucher, or Photo Producer.
• Hands-on experience selecting, editing, and evaluating images for professional publication, clients, brands, or media platforms.
• Proficiency in professional image-editing software such as Adobe Lightroom, Adobe Photoshop, or Capture One.
• Strong understanding of exposure, focus, color correction, cropping, image composition, and retouching techniques.
• Ability to recognize image manipulation, visual inaccuracies, and inconsistencies between photographs and their descriptions.
• Experience preparing images for print, web, social media, broadcast, or commercial use.
• Strong visual judgment and attention to detail.
• Clear written English and the ability to explain creative and technical decisions effectively.
