Shift: Shift 2
Work schedule: Mon & Tues 1800-0000, Thurs 1630-0100, Fri 1800-0000, Sat & Sun 1530-0000; B week: Wed 1630-0100. Holidays as assigned.
Responsible for triaging incoming calls to the Froedtert & Medical College of Wisconsin (F&MCW) After Hours Answering Service from patients, caregivers, or other healthcare providers. The triage RN assesses patient needs and provides appropriate clinical options based on triage protocols, which may include education on immediate care and preventative behaviors. Calls are documented in Epic, the electronic medical record.
A minimum of five years of clinical experience in acute or ambulatory care is required. Seven or more years preferred.
Minimum two years of education at an accredited School of Nursing to be eligible for RN licensure. Bachelor's degree preferred.
Current Wisconsin RN license or multi-state license from a participating NLC state.
