Position Overview: The Center for Sports Medicine and Orthopaedics is seeking a Phone Center Scheduler for a temporary summer position in Chattanooga, TN. Established in 1979, we are Chattanooga's leading provider of multi-specialty orthopaedic care, with 11 locations across Chattanooga, North Georgia, and surrounding areas. Our services include advanced sports medicine, orthopaedics, surgery, physical and occupational therapy, and sports training.

Responsibilities: Answer phones, schedule appointments, verify insurance, call patients to schedule based on faxed referrals, reschedule as needed, manage patient portal cases, and handle emails from nursing staff.

Qualifications: High School diploma or GED required. Prior experience in medical information management preferred. Completion of coursework in medical terminology and legal aspects of medical information management is also preferred.

Work Details: No nights, weekends, or holidays. Day shifts Monday through Friday. Must reside in TN, GA, or AL.
