Qualifications

• 1-3 years of construction experience in an operational role preferred.
• Assoc or Bachelors in Construction/Engineering/Architecture preferred, or equivalent experience.
• Understanding of construction equipment, drawings, specs, HSE, quality and materials.
• Ability to apply basic engineering and problem solving to construction challenges.
• Effective verbal, written and interpersonal communication.
• Flexibility to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Planning, organization and time management with multitasking and delegation.
• Ability to build a comprehensive project schedule.
• Coordinate subcontracts and contract documents.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and internal systems.

Responsibilities

• Maintains contract with select trade partners and supervises subcontract administration.
• Participates in change management and change order processes.
• Maintains project document control and procedures (RFI, shop drawings, submittals, as-builts).
• Collaborates with project team in supervising design with timely submittals.
• Reviews trade partner submittals for scope and design compliance.
• Coordinates with PM and superintendent on site performance (HSE, cost, schedule, quality).
• Prepares and supervises progress claims and estimates.
• Coordinates inventory and tracking of materials/equipment; expedites orders.
• Assists with site inspections and resolves constructability/coordination issues.
• Supports project closeout, archival, warranties and deficiencies.
