Job summary

Nevada Gold Mines is seeking a Predictive Maintenance Technician to join the Reliability Maintenance team in Phoenix. You will collect and analyze condition-monitoring data across process equipment to catch issues before failures and support a safe, high-performance mining operation.

The role requires experience with predictive maintenance technologies, data management, and strong problem-solving skills. Relocation assistance and/or a sign-on bonus may be available for qualified candidates.

Qualifications

• 4+ years industrial maintenance experience preferred.
• Experience with predictive maintenance technologies preferred.
• Ability to troubleshoot and repair process equipment preferred.
• Proficiency with Excel and Word preferred.

Predictive Maintenance Technician - Phoenix

Our people division is growing, and we are looking for a Predictive Maintenance Technician to join our Reliability Maintenance team at Phoenix. Reporting to the Reliability Maintenance Supervisor, the successful candidate will collect and analyze condition-monitoring data across a wide range of process equipment, helping the site catch equipment issues before they become failures.

Responsibilities

• Collect and analyze data on all types of process equipment using predictive maintenance technologies.
• Perform vibration analysis, oil analysis, thermography, ultrasonic testing, and additional non-destructive evaluation (NDE) methods.
• Create and maintain databases for each predictive maintenance technology.
• Generate and distribute condition and follow-up reports to all levels of management.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Proven safety record required.
• Excellent attendance record required.
• Previous training and experience applying predictive maintenance technologies and associated software and hardware preferred.
• Industrial maintenance skills equivalent to four (4) years as a journeyman preferred.
• Ability to troubleshoot and repair all types of process equipment preferred.
• Computer skills including knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to perform the essential functions of this job required.

Additional Preferred Qualifications

• CAT II or CAT III Vibration Analysis certification.
• Infrared Thermography certification.
• Ultrasound (UE) certification.
• Oil Analysis certification.
• Rotor balancing experience.
• MT/PT certification.
• RDI certification.
• UT Level I or II certification.
• Experience with SKF Aptitude Analyst, DBX, Microlog, or similar condition monitoring platforms.
• Previous mining process plant experience, including troubleshooting and inspection of rotating equipment such as pumps, motors, gearboxes, conveyors, agitators, and fans.
• Working knowledge of SAP or equivalent CMMS software.
