The Standard Legal Recruiting is seeking a mid-level Commercial Litigation Associate for a well-established national AmLaw firm in its Phoenix office. The attorney will develop a long-term practice handling sophisticated commercial disputes and insurance coverage litigation for institutional clients.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years of commercial litigation or insurance coverage experience, strong writing and discovery management skills, and are licensed to practice in Arizona.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of commercial litigation or insurance coverage experience in a large law firm or comparable litigation practice
• Experience drafting substantive motions, managing discovery, and handling depositions
• Strong legal writing, analytical, and advocacy skills
• Experience appearing in state or federal court is preferred
• License to practice in Arizona

Responsibilities

• Develop a long-term practice handling sophisticated commercial disputes and insurance coverage litigation
• Represent institutional clients in complex litigation, arbitration, and coverage disputes
• Collaborate with a close-knit litigation team and contribute to high-stakes matters
