Job summary

Ontario Trillium Foundation in Phoenix, AZ seeks a Controller to own day-to-day accounting operations and ensure accurate financial records aligned with GAAP. Reporting to the CFO, this leader will manage close cycles, internal controls, and core accounting functions for a growing healthcare benefits program.

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, able to operate hands-on and design scalable finance processes to support continued organizational growth.

Qualifications

• The Controller owns day-to-day accounting operations and ensures GAAP-compliant records.
• Experience leading month-end close, financial reporting, and internal controls.
• Ability to scale processes for growth in a multi-program healthcare benefits business.

Responsibilities

• Own monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes.
• Ensure accurate general ledger and timely financial statements.
• Coordinate external audits and tax filings.
• Oversee AP/AR and payroll reconciliations with HR.
