HHM Talent is assisting a client in Phoenix, AZ in their search for a technically strong Controller to own day-to-day financial operations across a multi-country clinic network.

The role emphasizes building scalable processes, ensuring accurate reporting, GAAP compliance, and partnering with senior leadership to drive strategic decisions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA strongly preferred.
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, senior role background.
• Deep working knowledge of US GAAP and month-end close.
• Hands-on ERP experience, Sage Intacct preferred.
• Strong Excel, SQL, and BI tooling skills.
• Experience in multi-location healthcare-adjacent business is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Own monthly, quarterly, and annual close end-to-end.
• Prepare GAAP-compliant financial statements.
• Manage intercompany activity and multi-country footprint.
• Maintain internal controls and compliance.
• Support audit with external partners.
• Provide financial analysis to leadership.
