Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomy Trainee to join our Seattle team at 1200 12th Ave S, WA 98144. The role includes a paid phlebotomy school and part-time work as a Patient Intake Representative while training, with promotion to phlebotomy upon licensure.

The schedule is Mon-Fri 8:00am-5:00pm with rotating Saturdays. This entry-level program offers career growth and the chance to obtain a Washington State license through Labcorp's support.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Excellent customer service and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient data entry and computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Attend phlebotomy school within 30 days of hire (paid by Labcorp).
• Observe phlebotomy collections in PSC/clinic and prepare for role.
• Schedule patient appointments and greet patients on arrival.
• Maintain a welcoming environment for patients and visitors.
• Assist with patient registration and check-in procedures.
• Enter patient demographics and billing information accurately.
• Verify insurance coverage and post payments to accounts.
• Collect and prepare specimens for testing when needed.
• Call physician offices to confirm test orders.
• Monitor and log patient wait times regularly.
