The role includes paid phlebotomy training with growth opportunities within the nation’s top humanitarian organization. Starting pay is $18.97 per hour, with schedule flexibility and full‑time benefits.

Qualifications

• Minimum qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent and customer service experience with effective verbal communication skills.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record is required.
• Physical ability to lift, push, or pull heavy weights, sit or stand for long periods, and adapt to irregular hours and frequent schedule changes.
• Basic computer skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Take time to personally connect with donors and explain donation impact.
• Collaborate with teammates to create a welcoming environment for donors.
• Ensure blood collected meets regulatory requirements and safety standards.
• May drive Red Cross vehicles and assist with setup/teardown at donation sites; minimum height of 60 inches may be required.
