Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Technical proficiency with standard phlebotomy procedures.
• Graduate of an accredited phlebotomy program with a clinical rotation/externship is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collection procedures and venipuncture.
• Verify order requests and identify information prior to drawing blood.
• Label specimens and deliver to the processing area.
• Perform specimen processing and related tasks (accensioning, centrifugation, packaging).
• Pickup and deliver blood and lab supplies as needed.
