Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Familiar with computer and office equipment.

• One year phlebotomy experience preferred.
• Enrollment in a phlebotomy certification class or completion of accredited course preferred.
• Phlebotomy certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform specimen collection including confirming patient ID and proper labeling to ensure accurate results.
• Provide customer service by answering broad technical questions and directing others to resources.
• Manage specimen accessioning accurately and efficiently for quality testing.
• Ensure accurate specimen processing to maintain specimen integrity.
• Perform billing and registration procedures accurately and in compliance with regulations.
• Communicate effectively and work cooperatively with others to optimize performance.
