Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Phlebotomy Technician experience required.
• Technical proficiency with standard procedures and practices.
• Troubleshooting and problem-solving skills in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collection procedures and venipuncture.
• Verify order requests and patient information prior to drawing blood.
• Label specimens and deliver to processing area.
• Perform specimen processing and packing (accessioning, centrifugation, packaging).
• Transport blood, other sample types and lab supplies as needed.
