Job summary

Jobtailor in Canton, OH is seeking a dedicated phlebotomist to provide exceptional patient care and accurate specimen collection. You will perform venipuncture on patients of all ages, prepare non-blood specimens, and ensure proper labeling and test ordering while maintaining confidentiality.

Responsibilities include championing safety, compliance, and quality control, and floating within NE Ohio. Typical schedule is Monday–Friday with Saturday as needed, first shift.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 2+ years of laboratory training or experience in specimen collection and processing
• Certification from the American Society of Phlebotomy Technicians

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional patient care and customer-focused service
• Perform venipuncture on patients of all ages
• Collect and prepare non-blood specimens
• Ensure proper specimen processing, labeling, and test ordering
• Champion safety, compliance, and quality control
• Float within NE Ohio
• Work Monday through Friday, with Saturday as needed, on the first shift
• Maintain strict confidentiality and comply with applicable privacy and security standards when accessing PHI
