Job summary

Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our team in West Columbia, SC. You will perform blood collections and provide exceptional customer service while acting as the face of the company.

This role offers opportunities for growth within the organization and may work in a Patient Service Center or Client office. Schedule is Monday to Friday 8:00am–5:00pm with rotating weekends; a high school diploma or GED plus phlebotomy training or certification is required, with preferred 6+ months of

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent Phlebotomy certification or completed training program or 3 months or more experience as a phlebotomist.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner
• Process billing information and collect payments
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs
• Provide superior customer service to all patients
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary
